The Lord has done great things for us, and we rejoiced. Restore our fortunes, O Lord, like the watercourses in the Negeb. May those who sow in tears reap with shouts of joy. Those who go out weeping, bearing the seed for sowing, shall come home with shouts of joy, carrying their sheaves. Psalms 126:3-6
Some time ago I heard someone on the street saying that for a given person their own problems were the worst, compared to others. Personally, I think there is a great truth behind that concept, and it is about how often we focus on, the same as an ostrich, not pulling our heads out of the hole when we feel overcome by fear and insecurity.
It also gives us an unhelpful view as a result, since we never get to celebrate the little things we have obtained. Perhaps we should remember how Jesus was never weak in trusting His own Faith, to the point of revealing the full power of His mercy to us by surrendering His own life in pursuit of our freedom. Having said that, we will realize how each small victory achieved will take on a different value that will give us the momentum we need in order to continue moving forward down our path to God.
Therefore, don't forget that when we have experienced difficult situations and discovered that God is faithful, this truth will help us a lot. We may not know how we will overcome the situations, but His mercy in the past leads us to trust that He will do it again.
